I used some of their music via my paid membership with CANVA and that created an issue on my Youtube channel even though I am a paid customer on CANVA. As a result, I have now to redo all the videos I made using their sounds and use my own sounds instead. A waste of time indeed, it was not clear in the first place. They are not willing to help to fix the issue, and for me now it is too late. Bad company.

Cancelled my subscription but still charged me anyway, and are now refusing to refund me.

Absolutely awful, terrible customer service, they don’t reply or if they do, they take a long time. Just all around unpleasant experience. NOT RECOMMENDED

Free trial ends on the 25th of Feb. So I cancel on the 25th. BUT they charge my credit card on the 25th! Stay the hell away from a company that pulls free trial scams and tells you, you have till the 25th, but charges you on the same day of your cancellation day! Total horeshit. This is the way of the 90's scams of today! Find a different platform than these scammers! Period!

Terrible customer service. For some reason my account signed up with Euros. I asked them about changing this and they said I needed to cancel my subscription and resubscribe and it will charge me British pounds.
I tried this and it just isn't possible. My account is locked to euros for some reason despite being based in the UK.
I have had to postpone a video 4 days while waiting for answers. But they just keep telling me to resubscribe without understanding that if I resubscribe it'll still charge me euros, which is significantly more expensive for me.
This is such a shame as the music is great. Seriously poorly managed.

Dodgy company. They found my email address on YT, signed me up for a trial without me permission and now are not responding to emails.

AVOID! The free trial, is still being taken out of my account. I've tried to get paypal to refund. I have to take it up with ES. If they refund me in full I'll happily remove this poor review. Turns out you have to cancel the account with ES and Paypal!

The worst company I’ve ever worked with. Their sounds get claimed constantly, horrible customer service, unclear terms of service. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in a long time getting media for visual projects.

Please READ YOUR T.O.S. and POLICIES before committing to both purchasing a subscription and follow their INSTRUCTIONS for linking your channels. There's some many negative reviews here because people don't know how to actually get started with this service. Yes, you do get falsely billed one dollar on your bank statement because EpidemicSound need to verify you have provided a valid account. Don't worry either, the false bill is withdrawed and you don't lose a cent.
This service is probably the single most important investment you should need to make to begin your YouTube path. Why? The copyright red tape laws within YouTube are incredibly tight and making a living on YouTube can be very stressfull, frustrating, and down right heart breaking if you leave yourself open to copyright claims with copyrighted content.
There is nothing more heart dropping seeing a well polished video of yours taken down or claimed copyright because you used someone elses music. Well this service puts an end to all that stress and worry. I've been a subscriber for just one month and the SHEER amount of content in this service is just astonishing.
The main purpose of this service is to provide you with a subscription based service to PROTECT your work on YouTube. Allowing you to freely use any piece of content from EpidemicSound onto your published videos on YouTube. EpidemicSound work jointly with YouTube, constantly updating their algorithym and channels to allow you to work freely on your videos without having copyright claims or strikes.
If you're worried about the quality of music I would say you have nothing to worry about. The sheer scope and depth of quality and types of music in this service is endless. I've found some very interesting artists who can deliver exactly the type of music I need for my work. I've been logging onto this website for over a month now and I'm always constantly finding artists who exceed my requirements.
There is also a vast sound effects library at your disposal. I don't know where it ends, but you can get SFX for almost anything. Even production element SFXs. You can also download music stems as well.
Have I mentioned that once you become a subscriber to this service, any videos you've made using EpidemicSound content is permanently protected from claims/strikes even after you cancel your subscription? Now that's peace of mind!
But please, if you're interested in using this service. Exercise your common sense and focus on reading their policies. Seriously, it's not all that hard or complicated either. You need to link your YouTube channel before you begin uploading videos with EpidemicSound content. If you don't, you'll get hit with copyright claims. Also it's probably best you link your account first and wait 24 hours for it to update in their catalogue just to be safe.
I'm probably never going to stop using this service. This service ticks all my needs. Thank you so much.

Forgot to end free trial, they do not notify you when going on a Payment plan. You will not get notified when you are billed. I paid 6 months for a plan without even knowing. Not illegal, but a very dirty way of making money.
After complaining about the issue above, they paid back half of the money. Good on them, but still would suggest sending an actual billing confirmation to avoid further complaints.

ES has given me the service I've been looking for for ages. I have been their customer for years and converted many of my friends, too!
